Food and Catering

Fully equipped kitchen with two fridges and two sinks to enable easy self catering.

A full or part time caterer can be hired as needed.

Trails

There are 94 acres of trails through fields and new growth coniferous forest. In winter the ski trails are suitable for back country skiing.

Hot Tub

We have a seasonal six-person hot tub located just off the spacious back veranda of the main house.

Swimming Pond

One of the big delights of New Life Retreat is our clean spring-fed, natural swimming pond*— complete with fish, frogs, turtles and dragon flies. The pond is located just down the hill from the main house. The grassy hillock behind the pond provides complete privacy from the road.

[*Please note that children must be supervised at all times anywhere near the pond. Those who are not already confident swimmers must wear PFDs when near the pond. Guests are responsible for providing their own PFDs and making sure they are properly fitted and adjusted. Given the size of the property it is recommended that young children be supervised at all times]

Our 94 acres of trails and cosy woodstove make a great winter sports location. Our trails are available for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing for all retreat guests.
